Panoramic aperitif with tasting of 3 sparkling wines in Valpolicella

We are at the entry to the Valpolicella Classica area, coming from Verona, on the central and panoramic hill, in the medieval village of Castelrotto. Our property is adjacent to the Castrum Rotari (7th century), a historic military fortress considered the "KM Zero" of the Valpolicella Classica area. Casa dei Fraccaroli (1790) – a family heirloom for centuries, one of the oldest residences in the village, located in the romantic square of Castelrotto – today includes the Borghetti Giampiero Farm, a family boutique winery, and the Castrum Wine Relais – Albergo Diffuso. The experience begins with check-in at the boutique winery; guests are then escorted to the panoramic terrace/pergola with a beautiful view of the Valpolicella Classica area and the city of Verona. The aperitif includes 3 sparkling wines from the Gold Collection of Borghetti Giampiero Winery. The wines are accompanied by a platter of cheeses from Lessinia and sbrisolona, a typical local dessert. An upgrade with gourmet platters is also available. The experience takes place on the panoramic terrace/pergola.
