Description
A Sirmione and Lake Garda day trip from Verona starts in the city, where you meet the guide and ride with the group by private bus to the lake. The transfers are sorted, so you can watch the scenery change from city to water.
In Sirmione the guide leads a walk through the old town and explains why this peninsula was a settlement of strategic value for more than two thousand years. Afterwards you have free time to wander alone. You can book the optional guided tour of the Grotte di Catullo, which adds a stop at a viewpoint on the peninsula that few travellers reach alone.
