Description
The guide, who is also your driver, meets you in the centre of Verona, and this Amarone wine tasting tour from Verona settles into the air-conditioned minivan for the ride into Valpolicella. On the way you hear about the valley and the wines it is known for.
The first stop is a winery in the middle of the region. An expert sommelier takes you through the cellar, explains how the wine is made and how it is kept, and then everyone sits at the table to taste a selection that includes the great Amarone. Before leaving, there is time for photos in the gardens and vineyards.
Back on board, the minivan drives to a second winery for another tasting, and after that the tour returns to Verona. In total the outing takes about four hours.

The tour works in any season. You must be 18 to drink, children under 14 cannot join, and food allergies or intolerances should be reported in advance. Hotel pickup is not included.
