Description
This private boat tour from Garda to Sirmione keeps your own group on the water for three hours, with no hurry anywhere. The departure is from the town of Garda, on the eastern shore, a stretch of the lake that is best seen from the boat.
The route follows the coast southwards, passes the green headland of Punta San Vigilio and Isola del Garda, then crosses the lake towards the thin finger of land that is Sirmione, medieval in outline and crowned by the Scaliger Castle. The pace leaves plenty of time to watch the light change over the hills.
On board, your hosts pour wines from local wineries and bring out platters of cured meats, cheese and regional food, with soft music in the background. Children get water and fruit juices, and real-time voice translation means everyone can talk in their own language.
