Description
The Shakespeare Interactive Museum in Verona is dedicated entirely to the playwright, with Romeo and Juliet and the link between Shakespeare and the city at its centre. There is no guide here: the visit is led by technology and by actors, and lasts about an hour.
A short historical introduction opens the route. Then comes a generative experience that mixes digital interaction with live theatre: interactive screens, augmented reality and virtual environments let you engage directly with Juliet, Romeo, Mercutio and Tybalt.
The finale is a live performance in which Juliet tells her own story. The actors are professionals of the Casa Shakespeare company, and behind them a 4K virtual set recreates the tragedy's settings.
