Description
Rafting on the Adige River in Verona: 8.5 km by raft past the city's historic bridges and walls, with a guide, gentle rapids and a friendly raft race.
Rafting on the Adige River in Verona gives you the city from the water, past its bridges and old walls, in about three hours. It mixes a little adventure with a little history and suits all ages and abilities.
At the rafting base you meet the guide and hear a safety briefing, then put on a life jacket, take a paddle and set off on 8.5 kilometres through the city. The guide tells how the river shaped Verona's history and architecture. Three gentle white-water sections break up the calm stretches.
The last part is a friendly 10-minute raft race, a cheerful end to the trip. The tour finishes in Verona, close to the riverbank.
