Description
The Verona moonlight walking tour shows the city after dark, through its lights, stories and quieter corners. It lasts about 90 minutes and is led by an expert, certified local guide.
It starts in Piazza Erbe, where Palazzo Maffei and the frescoes of Casa Mazzanti stand out at night. From there the route threads through secret corners and narrow alleys to the Well of Love, a spot linked to one of Verona's most moving stories. On the way you go by traditional wine bars and busy local haunts, through streets steeped in history.
Next comes the Roman Borsari Gate, one of the old entrances to the city. You cross the River Adige for views of the hills around Verona, then follow the water to Castelvecchio, whose medieval walls and bridge look striking in the evening light.
The walk finishes at the Arena, its facade lit up for the night. Wear comfortable shoes, as the tour is all on foot.
