Description
Near the city centre, in the Verona hills, a small organic farm hosts this organic wine tasting in Verona. Wine is the main product, but the land also gives honey, eggs, olive oil, goat cheese, fruit and vegetables, and the visit starts with a guide who shows you the winery and the vineyards.
Then it is time to sit down and taste. Five wines are poured, four of them red, and the glasses run from a Bianco Veronese through Valpolicella and its Superiore and Ripasso Superiore versions to the Amarone. Cured meats and cheeses are served with them.
You taste either on the terrace or in the villa garden, and both give you a wide outlook on Verona and the hills around it. The whole experience takes about an hour and a half.
