Lugana Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting with Four Wines

A Lugana vineyard tour and wine tasting begins among the vines in Pozzolengo, where the producers show the different grape varieties and explain how they look after their land. From there you move to the cellars, starting with the new one where the wines are made, with an explanation of the winemaking process.

The tasting takes place in the older cellar and the whole experience lasts about an hour and a half. You try four wines:

• a classic-method sparkling wine from Lugana
• a blend of Trebbiano di Lugana and Sauvignon blanc grapes
• the traditional Lugana DOC
• a red, Garda Merlot DOC, grown in clay soils

Alongside come cold cuts, bread, an omelette and Grana Padano cheese. The food cannot be adapted for vegans or gluten-free diets, so the tour is not suited to them. Mention other food intolerances or reduced mobility when you book. The tour runs in English and Italian.
