Description
This Valpolicella organic wine tasting is made for people who want good food as much as good wine. It starts among the vines of an organic estate, where the guide explains the winemaking traditions of the area and the main steps that bring the grapes from the field to the cellar.
The talk moves on to the harvest, and then to the rooms where the wine is made. The visit ends in the barrel cellar, where the estate's wines are aged.
Afterwards you sit down for the tasting itself:
- five traditional organic red wines
- salami and cheese
- other typical local products
Between the vines, the cellar and the table, the whole experience takes about two hours and is offered in English or Italian. Transfers are not included. Tell the estate about any allergy or intolerance, such as gluten or lactose, or about pregnancy or a vegetarian or vegan diet when you book: they will look for alternatives.
